Authored Manual de Psiquiatria (Handbook of Psychiatry) that was greeted by German psychiatrist Emil Kraepelin (1921)
Described a new form of delirious psychosis that named chronic automated hallucinatory delirium

Developed Roxo method (treatment of intermittent delirium employing intramuscular injections of atropine valerianate)
Proposed a method for treating epilepsy employing bromide, luminal, belladonna and potassium boric tartrate (1925)
