Agustín Andrade y Pastor, Mexican surgeon (Paris 03 May 1833 – Ciudad de Mexico 05 December 1886)

One of the first surgeons (if not the first) to use metal channeling of the posterior segment of the eye for the cure of retinal detachment

Designed some surgical instruments such as a trocar for puncturing retro-uterine abscesses (1882)

First to propose employing molar teeth as a mean for identifying people of Indian races (1864)
