Performed important works about gravitation

His doctoral thesis in Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) about periodic paths of cosmic rays gained international level (1935)

Demonstrated that there is a number of possible motions in the plane of magnetic equator of Earth

Obtained simple mathematical formulas to describe equatorial periodic orbits 

First to treat a problem of differential equations in three dimensions (1940)

Gave an explanation about curvature of luminous rays and the red shift to spectral rays

Solved the problem of two-body in gravitational theory
