Lélio Itapuambyra Gama, Brazilian mathematician, astronomer and geophysicist (Rio de Janeiro 29 August 1892 – Rio de Janeiro 21 July 1981)
Introduced notion of spheroidal structure spaces. It is the same as uniform structure enunciated by Weil in 1937
