Sang Soo Lee, South Korean optical physicist (04 October 1925 – 07 May 2010)

Authored over 250 papers and 5 books

Obtained the spectroscopy of radiative rays

Co-designed variable polarization dye laser for use in generating phase conjugate work and the iodine photo-dissociation laser for use in various material processing

Developed a four-mirror system for various applications including x-ray optics

PATENTS

With D.S.Lee, M.S. Lee & J.S. Ko. Apparatus for generating optical carrier suppressed return to zero (2004)
