ACHIEVEMENTS

Developed a molecular beam technique for detailing chemical reactions

With Doug Mc Donald, Pierre Le Breton & George Pisiello constructed an universal crossed molecular beams apparatus equipped with electron bombardment ionizer and mass spectrometer detector that enabled studying problems associated to reaction dynamics, photochemical processes and molecular spectroscopy (1967-8)

Designed a mass spectrometer detection system for monitoring collisions and scattering effects

Held many patents

HONORS

Chemistry Nobel Prize  (1986)
