ACHIEVEMENTS
First demonstrated strychnine spikes in the chick embryo (1954)
Found that counting repetitive light flashes augmented the visual response (1963-4)
With Rius described the slow response of auditory galvanic stimulation (1965)
First to demonstrate that stimulation of limbic structures provokes dormancy and decreases in electroencephalogram frequency
Developed a technique for diagnosing normotensive hidrocephaly
With P. Handler developed a simple method for magnetic tape recording of bioelectric potentials (1960) and computational procedures in neurophysiology
