Francisco Río de La Loza Miranda, Mexican chemist (Ciudad de Mexico 23 January 1856 – 1901)

Son of chemist Leopoldo Río de la Loza and half-brother of Maximino Río de la Loza

Performed chemical analysis of plant species with medicinal value

Extracted the alkaloid erythrocoralloidine from Erythrina coralloides
